Share Inspiration Every Day
In 1985, the founders of Compendium asked themrselves, what a difference they could make in the world by sprinkling a bit of inspiration where people live, work, and play. With each gift they create, they hope to find out how much good they can share.
Excited to discover the possibilities, they started to dream up tangible ways to add a little hope, inspiration and unexpected delight to each day. Soon, their first pop-open cards were born—small window cards with thoughtful messages hidden inside, like the ones pictured here.
What they discovered is that a wave of hope and inspiration can easily ripple from community to community, one powerful little pop-open message card at a time. Somehow these tiny pop-open cards quickly made their way around the world. I am told that astronauts carried them into space and submarine crews took them to the bottom of the ocean. They were also handed out to courageous response teams at Ground Zero after 9/11.
These sweet little pop-open cards offer surprise, appreciation, support, and remind people that they are seen and loved. They instill courage, express respect, strengthen hope, and provide a warm burst of encouragement. They have been given to teachers and cancer patients, and continue to be shared with anyone who could use a boost or spark of inspiration. Wherever these little cards show up, they lift spirits and warm hearts. Each affordable themed, boxed set ($7.95) comes with 30 cards, each card with a different saying, Whether you purchase them for your own daily inspiration or to lift the spirits of others, it’s a fun way to “Hold the Light” and bring more positivity into the world..
