A Message from Dr. Erlene Chiang, Director of Wen Wu School
Daily Movement, Daily Gratitude
Thanksgiving reminds us to pause and give thanks, but gratitude is most meaningful when it becomes a daily practice. Every day offers countless small blessings—moments, people, and experiences we often take for granted.
At Wen Wu School, we believe that joy and gratitude are cultivated through mindful movement. Each day, when we engage in our practices—whether it’s martial arts, Taiji, Qigong, Kung Fu, meditation, or gentle exercises—we strengthen not only our bodies but also our minds and spirits. Movement becomes a way to connect with the present moment, awaken appreciation for the simple gifts in life, and feel powerful, energetic, and independent in many ways.
We are especially grateful to our teachers, whose dedication and guidance make daily practice possible. Their teaching inspires us, supports our growth, and helps us cultivate joy, gratitude, and resilience.
I encourage everyone to embrace each day with intention: move your body, reflect on the blessings around you, and notice the subtle moments of joy that often go overlooked. Over time, these daily practices accumulate, creating a rhythm of vitality, gratitude, and happiness that extends far beyond any single day.
Let us move, reflect, and give thanks every day, turning mindful practice into a source of lasting joy, strength, and fulfillment.
Sending best wishes on this Thanksgiving week and month!
