Chinese Couple's "Rural Style Shuffle" Dance goes Viral

A couple from a countryside farming village in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province created a “rural-style shuffle dance” to help the husband recover from chronic trauma and depression after a severe car accident. Following his wife’s lead, the husband started learning basic shuffle dance routines. Soon they found themselves dancing their way into a magical cure for his condition. The husband now says his life consists of just two things: farm work and dance.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple self-quarantined at home. Having ample time to further develop new dance routines they decided to share them online.
