Fountain Project Health & Wellness Center Recap
Many thanks for your ongoing support of the Fountain Project Foundation. We are pleased to be providing healthcare services and classes that support homeless and underserved communities in need through the Fountain Project (FP) Health & Wellness Center located within LifeLong Medical Care's William Jenkins site, on Thursdays and Saturdays, and during special events at the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond.
Last year the FP Health & Wellness Center had 4,136 visits by patients who experienced improved health and well-being through chiropractic, massage therapy, life coaching, occupational therapy, osteopathy and acupuncture, as well as classes in yoga, art therapy, Qigong, adaptive PE. Those who received education on managing blood pressure also received a blood pressure machine to use at home.
Additional community services were provided at SOS (Safe Organized Spaces), GRIP (Greater Richmond Interfaith Program), CTTB (City of Ten Thousand Buddhas), BLIA (Budda's Light International Association), Dover Elementary School and the Senior Center in Richmond. Such a busy year! And we are looking forward to providing even more services in 2025!
With careful financial stewardship of donations received, we expect to continue providing services to homeless and underserved communities at an annual cost just under $350,000. With current limitations and uncertainties, FP services are important now more than ever. To volunteer, learn more about the Fountain Project, our services and our Board of Directors, or make a donation please visit the FP website at https://www.fountainproject.org/ Special thanks to Dr. Erlene Chiang, CMO of the FP Board, Angela Madonia, FP Health & Wellness Manager, to all of the staff, volunteers and Board members who make all this possible!
With gratitude, wishing everyone all the best in 2025 and the Year of the Wood Snake!
